I felt really sorry for Snyder here, in a way. Not just for the fact that he's suppressed even the evidence of his senses, but for having the sort of personality that lets him do that in the first place - and you're right, one has to be screwed-up from the start to do what he does.

Oh, and the S/M porn? I can see it, and oh god does it make me cringe.
