I love Dawn/Ethan and always have--and I'm only just remembering that I wrote the ship_manifesto for the pairing, didn't I? I had forgotten that--so it was a delight to write. There's a Dawn/Ethan story which has been in the back of my head for years, and this isn't it, but it was fun to use it as a background for this story.
