I have to admit that I am so behind on fandebates. I want to be able to devote them a significant block of time, and that's not a thing of which I have much at the moment. And while it's been over a year since I read the Dialectic (although obviously I'll be re-reading it v. soon) I remember really loving it and being excited by it (whereas, say, Foucault really pretty much left me cold).

I'd be very interested in your reading of DE (although I can't help but read that as Death Eater!).
