I don't think Henriksen was written offensively, but I think Jake was -- the fact that he died was the least problematic thing about his storyline for me -- and that it wouldn't have been that difficult to rework some details about his character to make him less problematic.

Basically, I think Jake could've been reworked to a better portrayal, while Henriksen and Sarge from "Croatoan" could've been reworked to be not dead. I'll give them a freebie on Gordon and Isaac. :-)
