More on Endemic White Racism

Remember when Obama claimed that white racism wasn't endemic, and nobody had any idea what he meant, but I was pretty sure I disagreed with him?

Mark Liberman at [livejournal.com profile] languagelog takes up the question here, interpreting the comment the same way I did. So apparently I was right to be disappointed.
