Thank you! I was afraid the constant repition of the alone theme was too over the top--the thematic equivalent of a sledgehammer--but I did want some way of continuing the thematic elements I created in the first Illyria segment through the rest of the piece.
And really what is so sad about this work, IMO, is that even though all of the characters are going through the same type of deep grieving and mourning process, none of them really has anyone to turn to in order to work it out. They're alone, even though they're not the only ones.
