LOL. Now I'm imaging a het male or a queer female trying to use femslash fics as a guide to dating, and it's hilarious. Perhaps someone should write that fic--although it strikes me that the story would be essentially the same if the character were using het (or mainstream het romance).

I get the feeling that improving RL f/f relationships via femslash can definitely happen in a relationship between (female) fangirls, though, just not by using the fic in question as a how-to manual. But partners who write porn together stay together (sadly not always, but I doubt it hurts).
