Yay for Wes treating Dawn like a real member of the team (even if it probably is because he doesn't want Gunn to know Fred was kidnapped on his watch!) I've always wondered why S6 Dawn was so coddled and protected and left with a babysitter when she was almost the same age Willow and Xander had been when they started patrolling with Buffy. S5 Dawn, I could understand, because she needed to be protected from Glory, but I always thought Dawn could be a big help to the team, if given half a chance. I'm glad Wes gave her the chance. Nicely done!
