The space lesbians (splesbians?) from "The Impossible Planet" I think it was, Ida and Scootie or whoever they were, they weren't really lesbians, right? As in, they totally could have been lesbians, but we don't know, it was subtext rather than text, right? Because I totally remember them as lesbians, but I think that's just because my flist told me so so many times I began to believe it.

I really don't remember.

Yeah, it was just subtext. It was never stated flat-out that they were lesbians. But they totally could have been!

I've filtered out communities and thuis missed all announcements. I've been busy working on it since I got this comment, but it's not cohering--perhaps I'm best throwing myself on my fannish sword? I'll do my best to finish the story, but if there are other plans you can make in the meantime perhaps that would be the best.

Well, if you think you might be able to finish the story, I'd rather not ask for a backup. If you want to take a couple of days and see if you can get something written, that's fine. Just let me know if you can't manage it, and then I'll ask for a backup.

If it's any consolation, the person you're writing for is late too, and about half of the participants have had to post their story in parts, including yours truly, so....
