Shows I Watch

I know that my updating lately is inconsistent, and a large part of that is how I position myself in fandom; I still think of myself largely as a Buffy fan, and of course since I'm not up to date on the comics or anything (and don't seem to be able to find the time to participate in [livejournal.com profile] femslash_minis) there isn't much to be said. But these are the shows that are currently airing which I do make a point of keeping up-to-date with:

Bones
Doctor Who
Eureka
The Guild
In Plain Sight
Sanctuary
Torchwood

I'm pretty sure that's pretty much the entire list.

And all of this is more or less an introduction to my saying . . . I think last Sunday's In Plain Sight (which I finally watched today) might well have contained one of the greatest scenes in the history of television. Love love love.

ETA: Obviously Sarah Jane Adventures would be on this list too were it not for Liz Sladen's sad death--although Wikipedia claims that the filmed episodes of Series 5 will air this fall.

Yus XDLex isn't actually very evil. :\ The weritrs often fall into that trap where they think somebody is evil b/c they (and the viewers) have all the information and in the grand scheme of things Lex might be evil. Except Lex doesn't. :\ All he knows is that Clark is keeping some sekrit away from him and that there are aliens running around with powers who are trying to take over the world.Mebbe if Clark explained the situation to him, he'd understand. The big problem I think is that we KNOW Clark will be a hero and we KNOW Lex will be evil so it's just like the weritrs assume, this is so, but often Lex isn't written to be bad at all. :o I feel so bad for him! Everybody accuses him of being ebil all the time and he's pretty justified if he wonders where this is coming from. XDClark kills too, or often intends to, except that he's written as lucky enuf to avoid it (Vandal Savage, I think there was just enuf wiggle room for Kane to have killed himself, etc). :\I think there's so much grey area it kinda bugs me when characters act like everything happened black and whitely. XD
