Title: Divine Interventions (2/16) [DVD Commentary]
Characters: Dawn, Amy, Cordelia, Ethan, Willow, Kennedy, Rack, and others. One of the motivations for this fic was totally to pull together as eclectic cast of characters as I possibly could.
Genre: Grön.
Rating: The overall fic will include material up to and including NC-17; most scenes are considerably milder, though.
Warning: Noncon. I do not warn for plot elements other than noncon; I will tell you which chapter the noncon takes place in so you can skip it.
Timeline/Spoilers: Takes place after “Why We Fight.” Spoilers up to “You’re Welcome,” with a nod towards "Smile Time." Assume spoilers for all of the Buffyverse canon in the commentary.

Up until very recently, this fic has been flocked due to its content. But because I deeply believe the best response to problematic speech is always more speech. . . .

Pairing: Fred/River, implied Fred/River/Harmony.
Rating: NC-17 for mature themes and sexual situations. Some BDSM, maybe.
Timeline/Spoilers: Takes place a couple years before “Serenity”; spoilers for both parts of “Serenity” and oblique spoilers for “A Hole in the World.” Arguably some very slight spoilers for Serenity and “The River Tam Sessions.”

Obviously, no one has asked for a commentary in the short time since the reveal of authors. However, I did find that writing a remix was such a fascinating and different process that I wanted to write a little bit on how I did it and what my remix philosophy was, and this seemed like the best format in which to do so.

Such a judgment is mistaken from a formalist critical perspective because it mislocates meaning and privileges evidence external to the text.
