I still love Veronica Mars because...

The Series

• Veronica has power--the power to make or break reputations, to uncover secrets, and in general to help others achieve their goals--and her classmates respect it.
  
• When her classmates don't respect it, she makes them respect it.
  
• Her father and her principal respect it.
  
• The show is about rich kids who have power handed to them on a silver plate.
  
• It's about the poor kids who steal it.
  
• Two words: Cindy Mackenzie.
  
• Because the recurring cast (which makes Buffy's look small) keeps coming back and being important. Everybody has their story, and they interrelate in amazingly intricate ways. No one is safe to forget; the show has memory.
