Yes, that slice seems to be the meta-fandom-y part of fandom (or at least thats where i see it expressed and highlighted), and that's also where I see a lot of the people in otw coming from. not everyone featured/participating in metafandom thinks this way of course, but the majority seem to. so until the otw proves otherwise, i'm going to assume they're more like the 'by women for women' crowd.
