1. My username is alixtii because that's my name. Well, my Discordian Holy Name. I am Episkopos Reverend Alixtii O'Krul V, TRL, and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I will occasionally sign my fannish e-mails A. O'K.

The thing is, if I were in public and someone were to call out "Alixtii!" I thinkI'd look up. Because who else could they mean? Google doesn't recognize any Alixtii other than me.

2. My journal is titled "The Tradëscan Codex" because that's my favorite MacGuffin in my fics. Whenever I need a mystical text I just use the Codex over and over again. This causes my characters to develop a love-hate relationship with the damned book where they can't bring themselves to burn it but really wish they could. Before that, my journal was titled "Postmodern Crisis" because I sort of have a love-hate relationship myself with postmodernism. Also, pstmdrncrss is my fannish AIM screenname. IM me sometimes.

3. My subtitle is "All That Was Not, Is Not, and Will Not Be" because according to this story the Codex "contains all that has been, all that is, and all that will be." Except, you know, it's all fanfic, so it isn't actually real.

4. My friends page is called Council of Watchers because, erm, well because it is. It's continuing with the Buffy theme. And I'm watching you, I guess, sort of. Anyway, moving on...

5. My default userpic is "Tate Modern: Better Bring a Book, Summer" because somebody named Joss Whedon once wrote in this post:

Well, first of all, what a blast I've had with the release of Serenity! $267 million at the box office -- in Des Moines alone! Ten sequels lined up, March declared "National Serenity Awesomeness Month", Nathan made President for Life of Canada AND Greece (his will be a bloody and righteous rule), and Summer's feet to be exhibited at the Tate, when she has time to stand around at the Tate. (She should bring a book.)

So, okay, maybe SOME of my expectations were a hair unrealistic, but I'm so proud of the movie and all my peeps, and we'll drag it into the black (or take it out to the black) soon enough.

and I just had to make it into an icon. My standard Drusilla-holding-a-knife-to-Angel's-throat-icon will be returning shortly, since I love that icon, I only have the 3 slots, and I don't actually share Joss's fetish for Summer's feet.
