Ah, the Brocolli Test--one of the few instances where I've inserted a reference to fannish meta discussion into a fanfic. It's Kaylee talking to Mal about Mal&Zoe, which means that its from "Je me souviens," my Wash/Zoe, Mal&Kaylee fic.

Oh, I remembered the fic perfectly (I could even tell you how old Madelyn was in it, and based on that figure out what year it was set in), I just couldn't remember the title. I was going "Rebirth? Ressurrection? Renaissance?" until I finally gave up and went and looked it up.
