Can't sleep.

Not sure if that's because I'm worried about the three papers I have to write this weekend (2 pages on religion that require reading a book I haven't touched yet as well as a month's worth of the New York Times; 6 pages on the format of Foucault's History of Sexuality; 15 pages of my pre-thesis on the metaphysics of 1984).

Not sure if that's because I'm excited about getting to see Serenity tomorrow, and the trip to Oneida that's going to entail. How early does one have to show up to see a little-known but much loved film on opening day in the middle of rural New York?

No words. Maybe later.
alixtii: Mal and Kaylee, from Serenity the Movie. Text: "I Love My Captain." (iluvmycaptain)
The theatre had 6 people in it. Of course I had to travel the half-hour to Oneida, largest town in Madison County (population 10,000), just to see the movie, and I caught an afternoon matinee. So I'm thinking six people in the theatre is probably a pretty decent sign. Still, it was the first time I've ever seen a movie on opening weekend, yet alone opening day, and it was one of the smallest (although probably not the smallest) crowds I've ever seen in a movie theatre.

As to my thoughts:SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS )
