Temptations and Sins, Big Love. Nikki/Sarah. So hot.

The Teenage Queen, the Loaded Gun, Runaways. I was never a huge fan of Chase or Chase/Gert (except insofar as I like Gert and want her to be happy) in canon, but this is just heartbreaking.

Document 32 from the Russel Collection, on loan from the Franklin Institute, Have Spacesuit--Will Travel. An older, professional Peewee writes a letter to Kip. Awesome and sad at the same time, but a great extrapolation from canon.

He did what?, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. Some of RAH's attempts at worldbuilding are better than others; Mistress is clearly one of the better ones, and the story builds with that well here, extrapolating and expanding the universe in a fragmented attempt on the part of Mannie and the Loonies to reconstruct Prof's life story.

Some Origins of the Fire, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. Wyoh's story--and a perspective on Heinlein's universe RAH would never have been able to provide.

Where the Air is Clear, Mary Poppins. Sweet and sad and with a sense of wonder, drawing on canon but giving it a twist.

Nobody's made any guesses as to which stories I've written yet. Now for yuletide this is perfectly understandable, for the chances that any given person has read one of my three fics out of two thousand, let alone be able to recognize my writing (which may be in an unusual style for whatever reason, as it was last year) aren't wonderful. As hints I'll tell you that I wrote for a movie, a tv show, and a play. Also, I wrote femslash, (implied?) het, and mostly gen with a canon het pairing. Not necessarily respectively. And, yeah, my pet issues shine through in pretty much all three fics.

But for prettylightsfic there aren't all that many fics, and I think I have a fairly distinctly recognizable sensability when it comes to RPF, on top of my prose style (which I know some of you can recognize). I mean, I feel like my yuletide fics have my Holy Name written all over them; with prettylightsfic it's a flashing neon sign, "Alixtii wrote this."

We'll see what happens when 3_ships happens. *goes to actually write the fic*

A/N: This is part of the Arthurian novel I worked on well through high school. It works better as fanfiction than as anything designed for professional publication, I think. The first draft of this was written by a horny teenager; the second draft by a slightly more restrained college student; and now, the final revision now by a grad student who actually has some idea how to write a sex scene (although my revising of the sex scene in this chapter was actually quite minimal). Yuletide has put me into the mood to pull it out and try to do something productive with it; think of it as King Arthur meets Torchwood. The druids in this story bear no resemblance to any actual religious tradition; no detail is intended to be in any way historically accurate (a fact I plan eventually addressed within the story itself).
