Oct. 16th, 2023 08:47 pmHonor Harrington: A fun story involving any of these female characters would be great. A story engaging with the intricacies of Weber's worldbuilding would be amazing.
Music of the Soul: Something filling in the gaps between June-as-a-baby and June-in-college. Maybe her and Eve fighting over boys, back when they were both ostensibly straight? I'm also interested in Annabella's political career. A West Wing-style look at the Congressional politics she has to deal with would be fun. We get the sense that Mandy and Anna tried to shelter June and Lizzie from politics as much as possible, but maybe June still travels to D.C. to see her mother sworn in or some other event?
Princess Affair: Getting to see more of Sasha and Kerry's HEA. Maybe a side het romance for Elizabeth? Kerry's family, especially, Declan, meeting the other royals and their reaction to their daughter becoming a Duchess. I'm also Anglican myself (U.S. Episcopalian), so I'm interested in the more progressive CoE we see, with the Archbishop of Canterbury performing their wedding. Does Kerry convert to Anglicanism?
A Brother's Price: Fluffy fic about Jerin and his wives. All of the characters seem firmly aware of the dystopian aspects of their setting, so that's not something that you need to belabor. The incest taboo explicitly exists in this society, but it's much weaker: it's frowned upon rather than unthinkable, and largely rooted in fears around genetics. As such, does it even apply to relationships between married sisters (who are already sharing the same partner)? I'm also interested in the role of homosexuality in the society, since situational bisexuality seems pretty much commonplace. I go back and forth between reading Haley as a biromantic lesbian (or the equivalent) and a plain old bisexual.
The Parent Trap: I 'ship Hallie/Annie, but if incest isn't your thing then a pairing isn't necessary. The thing I love most of them is the two-of-us-against-the-world thing they have going on, whether it be sexual, romantic, and/or platonic. I tend to write them as codependent sociopaths who only recognize each other as genuinely human but, again, you don't have to go quite that far if that's not your cup of tea. If it is, OTOH, then don't feel like you have to hold back!
A Little Princess: Any femslash pairing between the characters would work for me here.
