It's very hard not to respond when you feel strongly about something and you see someone saying something dumb. All I know is blue collar jobs (mostly for men) pay twice what women make working as secretaries, retail, and waitressing. Though I do think more women are getting into trucking because it pays better than other jobs open, but it's considered a male occupation.
Basically jobs that require no education for women you get pennies compared to what men can make and I really don't think that's right. I personally think they should just toss the guys off the oil rigs, honestly if they don't understand the definition of no, should they really be working on that kind of equipement?
