Ordinarily, I dislike angsty, post-Chosen Buffy. A personal preference, as I feel The Smile at the end of the series implies a future of new possibilities.
On the other hand, with excellent and touching stories like these, I can put those preferences aside for a while. Poignant, briefly yet brilliantly sketched, and very true to the characters.
