Heh. You know, I knew you were younger than me, but I didn't think to do the math on that.
I can see that a fanfic writer would probably be able to do a lot with the canon. I haven't seen it, since, well, 1989, and from what I remember what I hated about the show was that the acting was just terrible. But that wouldn't affect fic.
