revisiting post-Pylea Fred totally highlights the River similarities
Which really made the voice a pain to write. I've written a lot of River and a lot of Drusilla, and trying to keep crazy!Fred IC based on what little canon we have with her and not let the other insane voices seep in was very frustrating. (And writing crazy dialogue is hard to begin with because so much of the work is actually done by the way the actor delivers the lines, which a fic writer doesn't have.) (I know I've written at least one other fic with Crazy!Fred, Improbablity Theorem or something like that I think it's called.)
