alixtiiWhy has no one recced Mortal Taste (Theodicy, the Lilah Morgan Remix)? It's an amazing AU (some of the AU comes from the original fic Theodicy by Jintian, of course, which is also worth reading, but much is also new) in which . . . well, read it for yourself, but it works so well. Delightfully dark and twisted.
Another WTF-why-has-no-one-recced-this fic is Sweet, Sour, and Sweet Again (The Monster at the End of this Book Remix). It's a story about Fred and Cordelia, and Dennis appears, and its incredibly poignant, and the things it does with language is wonderful, and it just nails the pretentious metafic genre: Well, if he were alive, for instance, and if he were reading this story -- in short, if he were you -- Dennis would be killing Cordelia. So on the whole it's fortunate he's dead and only handing her a hairbrush, hoping she'll move from on from singing and start with the makeovers.
