Veronica Mars 2x17

alixtiiOkay, I might be the first person ever to be unjossed. My Veronica Mars fic Ghost of a Touch which is Veronica/Mac, now fits into canon a lot better than it did last week. Of course, I expect it to be rejossed in some way or another in the near future.
Apparently other things happened in the episode like people dying and evidence being found and boring stuff like that (and there was a mention of Hannah, but I forget what Logan actually said), but this was totally about the turgid romance of Cassidy and Mac to me. I had a lot of emotion invest in their relationship, because Cassidy's totally my avatar, so let's say I am rather distressed. Plus I feel bad for Mac, and some of the issues involved hit rather too close to home for me. Whatever's going on, Cassidy owes Mac a straight answer.
I am now going to go to sleep and mourn the relationship of Cindy Mackenzie and Cassidy Casablancas. Also of any chance of my ever being able to write Cassidy/Mac/Veronica.
ETA: I suddenly have the urge to cross something over with the DSM. I suppose Firefly would be the most obvious, but the scary thing is just how many of my fandoms that would would work with. (Ooh, that could be a conceit for a long multifannish fic, sort of a 5 things that never were deal....)

(On the other hand, I seem to have finally rotated in a Mac icon.)
