As I know you know, by a(n) (not-really-happy-if-you-know-the-whole-story) accident of faith, the circumstances leading me to flock this fic reversed themselves recently, so this fic is now unflocked.
I'm glad this worked for you. Writing Fred-without-a-soul was a double-edged sword; I was constantly afraid I was writing her too OOC, so I'm especially happy it worked as an exploration of her character.
