Yeah, I was pretty sure you were home this weekend. Maybe everybody is exhausted? I can sympathize; it was a tiring week, esp. with the heat.

And when Kaylee no longer has the power to bring joy into my heart, I know I am about to keel over from exhaustion.

Cliff Jayne. My first impulse was shag Simon, marry Mal, but otoh, I simply can't imagine being with Mal happily for any length of time without getting deeply frustrated by the stoicism. Besides, I could presumably marry Simon and not have to have sex with him. (It weirds me that I have this instinctive skeeved reaction to sex w. Simon, when geeky effeminate people are generally my thing, but I guess Simon is in some ways just not my physical type [wrt malepeople] at all.)

(I have icons w. all four of the main titles girls of FF, but none of the boys. Weird.)

Yeah, I keep wondering about the "we shag whom we marry" thing Shagging Drusilla has consent issues (ones which I just happily ignore for River, admittedly, because she's just that shaggable, and somehow they seem less problematic if there's a pattern established) but we know that her track record with monogamy is a lot better than Saffron's.

Hmm. Shag Ron (although maybe I'd like him better if I read the books), shag Harry once and get it over with, marry Hermione.

It probably makes me lamer than lame that I've been thinking about this on and off all day, huh?

Then shag Keith and marry Mac, I think, although in fairness this is the reverse of my initial inclincation; I like Keith best in just about every way, while my Mac thing is more, "Hey, she's cute! And something like me, only less lame!" But at the same time marrying someone something like me in terms of values, skills, socio-economic whozit not to mention something close to my age would, long run, make for a better marriage than "wow but you're awesome, and want to sleep with your daughter."

I've thought about it all through my morning exercise walk. (It's cool outside! Hooray!) Cliff Cordelia, then shag Madison and marry Harmony, I think. Or possibly shag Harmony then marry Madison. Pre-vamping Harmony showed the potential for growth, I thought, whereas Madison doesn't seem to be anything other than vindictive. If nothing else, Harmony is a sheep while Madison is a wolf.

The only thing that might upset and convince me to switch Madison and Harmony this might be intelligence; whereas Madison was shown to be not so bright "for a Sinclair" (which presumably leaves a lot of room), Harmony was always represented as dumb as a post (although, again, this was exaggerated post-vamping; human Harmony did relatively okay in school and very possibly was college-bound.) So Madison just might drive me less crazy, but I'm not 100% convinced.

Yeah, I'm sure it surprises you not a whit that this was an all day puzzler as well. I think all I know for sure is that I'm not cliffing CJ and I'm not marrying MM. That said:

Cliff McGonagall (movieverse, on the grounds that what happens in the movieverse isn't real), shag Miss Honey (bookverse, on the grounds that book!Miss Honey is so much hotter than movieverse -- E.Davidzt is pretty like whoa, but... lack of glasses! Much less with the hot) and marry CJ.

I mostly ended up cliffing MM because Miss Honey is too nice to die, and besides, MM is old and will be dying soon anyhow. (How Machiavellian of me.)

Given that... Miss Honey is really more marriage material than random shag material, I think because of her personality and also how she and Matilda end up in canon, and CJ is much more with the canonical one-night stands, BUT I just love CJ too much to let her go after just one night. *sigh* And I would really really like to shag McGonagall! But I can't bring myself to cliff Miss Honey, so that ended up being right out.

Dawn, Tara, Fred.

Cliff Tara. I love her to pieces, but I don't really want to shag or marry her. (And, despite your flawlessly argued piece on bi!Tara, I doubt she'd want to shag or marry me.)

Which leaves me with Fred and Dawn. My first instinct was to shag Dawn and marry Fred, but I'm not sure that Fred's geekiness and mine are really compatible in the end--I pretty much loathe science, after all. And I think that Dawn and I could get along pretty well--I think we're at a similar place emotionally (whereas Fred's older and more mature than me, and I think that could cause problems). Plus, Fred is more shaggable than Dawn, due to the glasses factor.

That's easy--it's taking me this long to reply because I was busy composing a long comment for glossing, not because I had to think twice. Cliff Willow, shag Kennedy (Iyari Limon is hot), and marry Amanda. Oh yeah.
