It occurs to me that this whole fic thing is a little turned around. If you want to tell someone about your fic (and you don't or can't or won't post it to a comm), you have to wait for a second-party to rec your title so that a third-party can read it.

Why don't we just spare ourselves the aggravation and ask for the pimping right out front? I know I like telling people to read my fics, I know you want to tell people to read your fics... so why don't we jump onboard and get this meme started?
