A Watcher's Work [Dawn] A Watcher's work is doing what needs to be done. A short ficlet in which I work out the Watcher's responsibilities and lay the foundation for some future thoughts about monsters.

Twenty Facts about St. Clare's Academy Not Found in the Brochure [Faith/Kennedy] I used the twenty facts format because I just couldn't figure out a traditional story to tell, but it seemed to go over really well (possibly because it was easier to read than a traditional story?).

Five Views on Breaking and Entering [Faith/Dawn, Willow/Kennedy] Dawn breaks the laws of God and man, amidst Faith, hope, and angst. For the Faith Ficathon, although Faith really only gets a small portion of the fic, which focuses on the way that different figures respond to the potentially illegitimate power put in their hands in the name of saving the world.

Je me souviens [Wash/Zoe, Mal&Kaylee] In which, at a complete loss as to how to write fluff forinlovewithnight's Valentine's Day Fluffathon, I completely switch the emphasis from the requested pairings to my own OTP. Which actually ended up working quite well. With in-jokey reference to the Brocolli Test. (Audiofic)
Two Mal/Kaylee drabbles: Sky and Well-Shagged. Believe it or not, despite the pairing being my OTP and all, and I being the founder ofiluvmycaptain and the author of the Mal/Kaylee ship_manifesto essay, these two drabbles are the only Mal/Kaylee I've ever written.
X-Men
Supersupersymmetry [XMM, Bobby Drake/Kitty Pryde] Bobby returns to his room to find a costumed Kitty on his bed. Okay, it's a crackficlet, and claims that the character's are OOC are probably justified, but I know I wasn't the only one who laughed at the juxtaposed Wes/Lilah scene. And the idea of Last!Stand!Kitty dressed up as Rogue is sort of hot.
Indian Summer [XMM, Bobby/Rogue] "You going to put a shirt on?" Rogue asked, trying to sound nonchalant. Forfandom_mashup, and better forgotten: the assignment I got consisted mostly of m/m PWP, and I just sort of flailed.
Vials of Ivory and Uncoloured Glass, Unstoppered [XMM, Moira McTaggert] Women beware women, in days of auld lang syne. For thexmmficathon. A sort of interstitial fic, which works or not depending on how clear one needs things to be.
Imagined Grace [Astonishing, Emma/Kitty] If Emma Frost were the sort of person with qualms about using her telepathic powers, she supposes, she'd view entering Kitty's dreams as some sort of violation. A PWP that really doesn't pretend to be anything else.

A Chondrichthyes out of Hydroxylic Acid [Dawn/Saffron] I just love the title of this one so much. "Every new experience, no matter how extraordinary, is an opportunity" is my original summary for this one.

Darla has died so many times she has lost count. As in the above fic, two women who know how to use sex as a weapon face off against each other.

Vamp!Cassidy and/or Vamp!Mac would be so much fun, and the idea of them all sharing a flat is just too much fun to pass up.

[BtVS/Firefly, Wesley/River] It's a very ancient saying, but a true and honest thought, that if you become a teacher, by your pupils you'll be taught. Sequel to "Twice Bless'd," since it provides a conceit that makes any crossover ever possible, and an excuse to include Tara.
