I meant something along the lines of this:
Right after Kaylee joins the crew, she develops a crush on Mal ... and she makes assumptions without knowing a thing about his past, the various relationships among the crew, etc. Misunderstandings and such abound.
Or I could always come up with something completely different. :-/
