Keeping track of everything happening in my Watcher!verse is no easy task; everyone's busy fighting demons when they aren't sexing each other up and it's hard to keep track of what is happening when. Hell, it's hard enough just to try to reconcile Buffy with Angel or, for that matter, to reconcile the series with itself (time seems to past insanely quickly or slowly at times). I have this long timeline to keep everything straight, and I thought maybe people would be interested to see it, after I removed some of the more flagrant spoilers (no good spoiling the fun!). So I give you...

 Watcher!verse Continuity

1860 – Angelus turns Drusilla.

1880 – Drusilla turns William the Bloody.

Autumn 1942 –American scientist John Walsh is captured by German forces along with his daughter Margaret.

August 1943 – “A History of Violence.”

October 1979 – Ethan Rayne performs the Rite of Isis.

1989 -- “History of a Pink Princess Vampire I.”
Christmas 1998 -- “Triangle I.” “Amends."
June 1999 – “History of a Pink Princess Vampire II.” The Scoobies conscript the Class of 1999 in preparing for the Mayor’s Ascension. “Graduation Day.”

September 1999 – Eve matriculates into the freshman class at UC Santa Cruz. Buffy and Willow matriculate into the freshman class at UC Sunnydale. In the character’s revised memories, Dawn would be entering 7^th grade.
2000 -- “Taking Care of Business." “Redefinition."

Spring 2001 – “Critique of Judgment.” Quentin Travers and Lydia Chalmers travel to Sunnydale to evaluate the Slayer, provide her with information,  and give her a valuable lesson. “Checkpoint.”

Summer 2001 – Dawn’s 15^th birthday.“The Sleep of Reason.” Wesley watches Dawn for a weekend while Fred is crazy, Buffy is dead, and Angel is in Tibet. // “Incompleteness Theorem.” Fred visits the W&H offices searching for the solution to her problem. Between “There Is No Place Like Prltz Glrb” and “Bargaining.”

Spring 2002 – “Dark Velvet Moonshine.” Amy/Rack/Drusilla. “Smashed” through “Grave.”

Summer 2002 – Dawn’s 16^th birthday. “Witch-Mother.”  Between “Grave” and “Lessons.”

September 2002 – Dawn enters 10^th grade. “Lessons.”

November 2002 – “End of an Age.”  // “A Questionable Shape.”  // “Cry Cry What Shall I Cry?”  // “Because I Do Not Hope to Turn.” The Watcher Council Headquarters are destroyed. “Never Leave Me,” “Long Day’s Journey”

Christmas 2002 – “Bring on the Night”

February 2003 – “Showtime,” “Potential”

March 2003 – “That Old-Time Religion.” Hecate conscripts Amy Madison to cast a hex on Willow Rosenberg. “The Killer in Me,” “First Date”

May 2003 – “Triangle II.” “Get It Done,” “Storyteller”

June 2003 – “Peace Out,” “Home”

July 2003 – "Just Skin."  // "First Time's Not the End of the World."  // "Olympus.” Willow activates all the potential Slayers worldwide. “Lies My Parents Told Me” through “Chosen”

August 2003 – Buffy is in Europe as of this date. Dawn’s 17^th birthday? “Conviction,” “Just Rewards”

September 2003 – Roger Wyndam-Pryce and Lydia Chalmers begin to reconstruct the damaged Council of Watchers. Dawn enters the 11^th grade (at an Italian private school?). “Unleashed,” “Hellbound”

October 2003 – “Life of the Party”

November 2003 – “The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinquo”

Christmas 2003 – “Windows of My Soul.” Drusilla is ensouled. Insanity ensues.“Lineage,” “Destiny,” “Soul Purpose,” “Damage”

January 2004 – Rupert Giles becomes a member of the High Council beside Roger Wyndam-Pryce and Lydia Chalmers. The status of the Slayers under his care is regularized. “Untitled.” “You’re Welcome,” “Why We Fight”

February 2004 – “Divine Interventions.”   //  “Questionnaires for High Council Peer Review.” [D. Summers, R. Giles]   //  “Sinister Simulacra.”  “Smile Time”

March 2004 – “Africana Seductrix." “A Hole in the World,” “Shells”

April 2004 – “The Ransom of Andrew Wells.” Andrew is kidnapped and Dawn has to decide whether she really wants him back. “Confessions of a Teenage Watcher.” Dawn and Beatrice visit Cleveland to help Faith with a coming apocalypse. “Underneath” through “The Girl in Question.”

May 2004 – “The Legacy of St. Stephen.”  // “70 Questions for Eve.”  “Powerplay,” “Not Fade Away.” End of canon.

Summer 2004 – Dawn’s 18^th birthday.

September 2004 – “School Girls.” Dawn and Beatrice enter the 12^th grade.

October 2004 – “Shopping on Oxford Street.” Dawn and Beatrice vacation in London during a demon mating season.

November 2004 – “Watcher’s Burden.” The Cruciamentum is reinstated. Beatrice’s 18^th birthday.

Christmas 2004 – “Absolution.”

2004/2005 – Buffy and the Immortal become engaged.

2005 – “History of a Pink Princess Vampire III.”

Summer 2005 – Dawn’s 19^th birthday.“Obedient.”
October 2005 – Dawn enters the freshman class at Cambridge University.

May 2006 – “After the Ball.”

June 2006 – Buffy marries the Immortal.
July 2006 -- “Five Views on Breaking and Entering.”

August 2006 – “Permutations.” While vacationing in the south of France, Dawn is targeted by the Order of Toraka. Dawn’s 20^th birthday.

January 2007 – Buffy is charged with crimes against the Council.

May 2008 – “History of a Pink Princess Vampire IV.”   //  “Before Thee Let the Unclean Thing Crawl.”   //  Buffy and the Immortal conceive their daughter, Madeleine.

February 2009 – Madelyn Summers is born.

June 2009 – Dawn graduates with a B.A. from Cambridge.

Summer 2009 – Dawn’s 23^rd birthday.

October 2009 – Dawn begins her graduate work at Cambridge.

June 2012 – Dawn graduates with a Ph.D. from Cambridge.

Summer 2012 – Dawn’s 26^th birthday. “A Watcher’s Work.”

May 2014 – “To Live in Hearts.”   //  “Elegies.”   //  Dawn and Giles begin courting.

Summer 2014 – Dawn’s 28^th birthday.

Fall 2014 – Kennedy begins working as a history teacher at St. Clare’s.

February 2015 – Madelyn Summers’ 6^th birthday.

June 2015 – “To Let Oneself Love.” Dawn marries Giles.

2015 – “Facing the Shadows.”

Christmas 2015 – “Christmas Ghosts.”

Spring 2016– “Mystery.”

2016 – “A Chondrichthyes out of Hydroxylic Acid.”

2017 – “The Raising.” Darla is resurrected. Again.

February 2018 – Madelyn Summers’ 9^th birthday.

Spring 2018 – “Twenty Facts about St. Clare’s Academy Not Found in the Brochure” and “Class Trip.”

Autumn 2019 – “Eve of All Hallows.”   // “Feast of All Saints”   // “Feast of All Souls.”   //  “Bonfire Night.”
November 2020 – “Triangle III.”

February 2021 – Madelyn Summers’ 12^th birthday.
February 2027 -- Madelyn Summers' 18th birthday.

My chronology doesn't end there, but apparently the third part of "Triangle" is the latest thing I've actually written. To say anything more about the chronology post-2021 would be, IMO, too spoileriffic. Let's just say I have some explosive twists and turns in store!
