Finite Regress

alixtiiWent to an Arlo Guthrie concert Saturday night, and I brought a picture I have, taken by ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ladyphoenixmage's lovely parents, of Arlo Guthrie signing a CD for me. I now have another signed CD, and a signed picture of Arlo signing a CD for me. Sadly, we did not take a picture of Arlo signing the picture, to be signed by Arlo at some indeterminate future date. ("Finite regress" isn't the name of the picture; it's only the name of this post, and that's why I call this post "finite regress.")
He performed "Alice's Restaurant" (the events of which are now 42 years ago on Thanksgiving--my how time passes) and "The Motorcycle Song," too songs he didn't do the last time I saw him, so I think I've now seen him do all of my favorite songs of his live.
If you haven't experienced a concert by him, I really can't describe it.
