I have:
a) apparently managed to get the desktop to stop crashing every 15 minutes. *knock on wood*
b) ordered a new powercord for my laptop.
c) bought an external hard drive.
d) bought a cable to connect my DVD player and television. (I'm pretty sure my parents took my old one, but that would have been six months ago and "everything else I own isn't working right now" isn't a good explanation for why I suddenly need it now--or it is a good explanation, but not one I want them to know about.)
e) found the software for my MP3 player, which I'll need to re-install (and I'll have to decide whether I want to primarily run it from my desktop or laptop).

The upshot is I'll probably manage a bit more of a presence than I have for the last two weeks. Then again, looking at the state of my studies (and the two incompletes which still won't die) this might not be a good thing.

. . . I still haven't decided what to give up for Lent. *frown*

As soon as I can find the notebook I notebooked my hetfic_minis fic in, and transcribe said fic, I'll have some Buffy/Giles goodness to post, so stay tuned. Apparently that fic isn't due until the 17th. Which seems like a scandalous amount of time for a "minis" fic, but there you go.

I want to watch, at the very least, "Potential" before starting on my femslash_minis fic. According to the Buffy Dialogue Database, Amanda also speaks in "Help," "First Date," "Get It Done," "Storyteller," "Dirty Girls," "Empty Places," "Touched," "End of Days," and "Chosen." Recommendations as to which should be included as part of an Amanda mini-marathon?

. . . I just remembered I haven't seen this week's Torchwood, and now that this computer seems to be working (for now, at least) I can do that now. *goes off to find download*

Content that I want to have in this journal soon: a review of Supergirl: Identity, and also one of the two Spider-Man <3's Mary-Jane digests I got with my textbooks: The New Girl and My Secret Life. I've updated my New Years Eve post to reflect my owning them. Also owned by me, but not yet on the New Years Eve post: the third Buffy omnibus, collecting the very first issues of the comic. Boy, were they bad. :)

I just watched "Help" and "Potential," I think. Maybe "Chosen" too.

And wow, even though I noticed it when I first got the assignment, apparently in my head hetfic was due tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up.
