12a. And so to the end of history, murder shall breed murder, always in the name of right, and justice, and peace, until the gods create a race of men that can understand.

12b. Go, Ptolemy. Always take a throne when it is offered to you.

Caesar and Cleopatra, 1945, written by George Bernard Shaw and starring Vivian Leigh and Claude Reins.  I'm always shocked that Shaw transfers so well to the stage and screen, since it reads like it shouldn't, but somehow it always does.

15a. All my life I've done what's expected of a traditional Patusani girl. And who do my parents think they are, telling me who I'm going to marry? I'll decide who I'm going to marry, not them! That is if I marry. I mean that was a really swell kiss and all, but I just didn't want to hurt your feelings about the marriage thing. But we can still date, right?

15b. Don't make me come out there and beat you with a leg of mine that no longer works, 'cause I'll do it! No you get in here and clean up your bloody rooms 'cause I know best because I'm 37!

Surf Ninjas, 1993, written by Dan Gordon. So incredibly B-movie. It's been a while since I saw it, but I remember the movie ending and me thinking it was a postmodern masterpiece.

Caesar and Cleopatra, 1945, There's a movie of that play? Good lord, I *have* to watch it. The play has always been one of my favorite ones.

The movie is really good. Mind you, I've never seen any other production of the play with which to compare it, but I walked away really impressed.
