Invisionary Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (I have a feeling that's going to be a common answer, for some reason....)

That one actually used to be my default, until I changed it a few months ago.

(By the way, what's the code to link directly to an icon like that?)

That would explain why I associated it with you, nyet?

I just uploaded it to photobucket temporarily, which is what I had assumed [livejournal.com profile] dragonscholar did. But playing around, I find that

<*img src="http://www.livejournal.com/userpic/37392092/4950869"*>

will link directly to the icon, at least temporarily:

I don't know if LJ takes any measures to prevent hotlinking.

Cool, thanks. It's probably easier to just put the icon on webspace somewhere, but this might come in handy too.

Yes, eventually I really should look into getting a new icon but I'm so very attached to this one.

There are definitely a whole lot of paacitulrrs like that to take into consideration. That is a great level to carry up. I provide the thoughts above as normal inspiration but clearly there are questions just like the one you convey up where crucial factor can be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if greatest practices have emerged around things like that, but I am certain that your job is clearly recognized as a fair game. Both boys and girls really feel the impact of only a second’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.

or really any of your anime icons. Yes, the icon of your actual face is pretty darn recognizable, and it's a very cute icon, but that means I have to actually look to see whose face it is, whether it is yours or [livejournal.com profile] wisdomeagle's or [livejournal.com profile] jennyo's or, say, James Marsden's or Summer Glau's or Joss Whedon's. Whereas most of your anime icons are of a similar color scheme and I don't know who the people are anyway so I don't have to look at the faces.

While I know you have fandoms and you do talk of them, I still sort of think of you and [livejournal.com profile] katieliz as more mundane-ish, as I've actually met and even gone to school with the two of you (you in college, she in high school), and so I'm more interested in your RL posts than your fannish posts, although of course you do both. But if pushed, I would of course either say "some anime stuff I know nothing about" or else, of course, Firefly/Serenity. Unless, as you say, Latin and grammar count as fandoms. (And don't tempt me, or I'll end up writing a Participle/Gerund pairing entitled "Who's Afraid of Future Subjunctive?" and posting it to [livejournal.com profile] anthropomor_fic.)

Participle/Gerund? WTF?! I can't believe you ship Parterund. It's all about Partifinitive! They belong together!!!11!

(Seriously, though, you should write that fic.)

, of course

Does being a fan of fandom itself count? Otherwise, sometimes you talk knowingly about a lot of different fannish stuff, most of which being stuff about which I haven't a clue.
