While not all of these artists are representative of the music which I typically listen, I think this grouping is fairly representative of the diversity and character of my playlist.

Given the choice, Grover and Elmo would not be the Muppets/Sesameans I would choose to be representatives of the insane amount of Muppet music I have on my hardddrive. But it was their songs kept coming up along with The Muppet Christmas Carol ensemble pieces which I wasn't sure how to credit visually.

I loved Grover as a child, especially SuperGrover, but I think there may have been will-to-power issues going on there. I too have no memories of Elmo. But overall, I prefer the Muppets to the Sesameans, except when the Sesameans are doing parodies of classic rock songs, as in "Born to Add" or "Letter B." Then they, well, rock.

(I kept reading that as "Seamans" and was very confused.)

The Muppet Christmas Carol has songs? Well I suppose it would. (Yeah, I've probably never seen any of the Muppet movies.)

I remember SuperGrover now that you mention it. Sesame Street stuff I remember off the top of my head are: Big Bird, Snuffleupagus, Oscar the Grouch, Slimey the worm, Teeny Little Super Guy, and learning Spanish.

The Muppet Christmas Carol is one of my favorite movies. Definitely in my personal top twenty. And I love the songs sooo much.
