Um, my reply to this got rewritten before posting and clearly I didn't go back to check for coherency before posting. It should read:

Yes, but clearly Mr. Rogers resonated with you far more than it did with me, so you're one up on me there.

Plus of course the argument that there are lots of cultural touchstones besides television. Hello, Milne, Dahl, etc.

Really you just *had* a televisually limited childhood.
